Brackenfur is a golden brown tabby tom.[3] He is a warrior of ThunderClan in Starkit's Prophecy and The Story of Prettysilverflower.
History[]
Starkit's Prophecy[]
- When Starpaw tells ThunderClan that she is the reincarnation of Gleamstar, Brackenfur asks her if she really is. Stargleam then runs off screaming why nobody will believe her. She is very angry, and in her thoughts wonders how Brackenfur could not believe her.
The Story of Prettysilverflower[]
- Brackenfur is first seen catching mice in ThunderClan territory, when his mate Sorreltail starts to give birth. When she dies shortly after, he runs to her side. Brackenfur grieves over her death before finally naming his kits Evilleopardkit, Diamondkit, Wolfkit, and Flowerkit. When no one can think of a name for the last kit, Sorreltail comes back to life and suggests "Prettysilverkit", before dying again. Brackenfur agrees with this name, and confirms it.
- When Evilleopardkit attacks the ThunderClan camp, Prettysilverkit confronts him about it, telling him that being evil is against the warrior code. Evilleopardkit tells her that he doesn't care and says that he is big and can breathe fire. Brackenfur then complains about there being too many "e's" in the sentence and that it hurts his eyes.
